The American Police State

We live in an era of incomparable prosperity, unmatched opportunity and the most abusive, corrupt and criminal American government of all time.

The Constitution of the United States of America, the formula by which the worlds democracies are and have always been measured, has been rendered impotent by an authoritarian, police state leadership which respects no aspect of individual liberty in it’s quest for total power and control of it’s citizenship. 

“We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.” (Italics added)

As we read through this marvelous instrument of independence and personal freedoms we begin to see, over and over, the application of legislation designed to undermine and render ineffective the protections so carefully constructed by our founding fathers. i.e.

“Amendment VI

In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial, by an impartial jury of the state and district wherein the crime shall have been committed, which district shall have been previously ascertained by law, and to be informed of the nature and cause of the accusation; to be confronted with the witnesses against him; to have compulsory process for obtaining witnesses in his favor, and to have the assistance of counsel for his defense.” (Italics added)

Any reasonable person must conclude that an individual who faces incarceration and the loss of his freedom as an American citizen MUST have committed some crime.  The fact of their incarceration demands that they have committed a crime.  And yet, growing numbers of Americans are imprisoned every day without benefit of a fair and impartial hearing.  Often, without even the opportunity to present a defense to the accusations against them.  This is done under the guise of Civil Contempt.  By labeling the offense ‘Civil’ in nature, the courts thus deprive citizens of their constitutional right to due process.  Any offense that subjects a citizen to incarceration is criminal by nature of the remedy.  Any process that denies such simple logic is corrupt by nature.  Any proceeding that is conducted behind closed doors where the public cannot bear witness to the facts of the case is devious by nature. 

“Amendment XIV

Section 1. All persons born or naturalized in the United States , and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the state wherein they reside. No state shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any state deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws. “(Italics added)

There is no provision in Amendment XIV to distinguish between Civil and Criminal proceedings.  The framers of this amendment intended that, in any case where “life, liberty or property” was in jeopardy, the citizen was guaranteed the right to due process.

Thousands upon thousands of persons have been jailed without due process.  The right to representation, to trial by jury;  The very right to confront and defend against charges has been stripped away and replaced by legislation that condemns and incarcerates by it’s mere existence.  Perhaps the most contemptible aspect of all of this is the closed door policy which denies the public the right to witness the injustices taking place and thereby protects the judges, lawyers and governmental agencies involved from the wrath of an outraged community.

The ‘Contempt of Court” process in this country is nothing more than a racket to extort money from individuals who have committed no crime.  The billions of dollars involved insure support from unscrupulous lawyers, judges and legislators who constantly seek new and better legislation to perpetuate the machine.

I find it interesting that the ones most impacted are this country’s men.  I wonder, in its quest for power and control, if the government leaders know that the biggest threat to their stranglehold on this country’s citizens is the fathers.  What will a father do to protect his children?  His family?  Isn’t it much easier to control a woman and her children and make them wards of the state with the father out of the picture?

I have looked into the eyes of these judges and lawyers and legislators and seen the haughtiness and arrogance.  Their intent is clear to me.  They are my enemy and the enemy of my family.  I’m reminded of the arrogance of Saddam Hussein that was so clearly missing from his face as he was dragged from his hole and I have to smile.  Tyranny always meets its end.  As I read the newspapers and browse the internet, I can see the battle lines being drawn and the steady influx of a growing army.  Not much longer will this nation tolerate the systematic dismantling of a freedom and way of life that we, our fathers and forefathers fought and died to protect.  Not much longer will its fathers tolerate the Gestapo tactics of having their children torn from their arms.

My advice to the law-makers in this country is to carefully evaluate where you stand on these issues.  An accounting is near.
